Are you being called to the path of the Shaman or Priestess?

To know the answer to this question you have to understand what a Shaman and Priestess actually are.

The Traditional Shaman Elders define a Shaman as someone who perceives with the inner senses that everything is energy and to be in that flow of energy. They walk with one foot in the spiritual realm and the other in the physical. They are in constant communion with the Divine -  bridge between worlds.

What about a Priestess? She's someone who is able to not only sense the energetic realm but to work with the energy through ritual, prayer, and aligned action to influence the physical world around her. The work she does in the inner world is palpable in the outer world.

Do you see the commonality between these words? If you were to look at the healers, energy workers, spiritual leaders, or Beloved Women in every culture - the definition is the same.

These are paths that are bestowed on us - they come from spirit & we chose this path before we incarnated. 

We can't force ourselves into these roles or simply claim these titles.

But we can prepare ourselves to walk the path we already set out on. This is what I strive to offer by sharing these teachings.

So how do you know you're being called?

It's simple:

• you're intuitive, empathic, or otherwise able to sense the energetic realm - it's easy to brush these experiences off as coincidence, imagination, or even psychosis but they've been there all your life.
• you feel deeply connected to Nature - the Earth, Sky, all living things - and know we need to live in balance with her
• you know you have something to offer the world, you desire to be of service in some way, but you can't quite access what it is
• you've been through a dark night, walked through your own personal hell, and come out the other side more compassionate, wiser, with a stronger desire to be of service.

That's it. Move past the self-doubt, the feeling like you couldn't possibly be special enough, the fear of stepping into your power and know that this is an ancient calling being awakened within you.
